THZY Universal Car Mount

When navigating to a new place or going on a long drive, a GPS comes in handy. Other times, we just use our "maps" on our phones. Therefore, there is a need for a car mount. In my photo below, you will see 2 examples of car mounts. Below is is vent car mount and top is a windshield car mount.

I like the top car mount because it is the suction on the windshield kind. It is better than my old vent car mount (near the steering wheel). I position it well so my phone is in my eye level so I can just quickly look at it and then get back on the road. It's easy to adjust and the bottom is extended to support the phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and my husband has iPhone 6 and they both fit perfectly because this is a universal car mount.

It also tilts and swivels. The suction is strong and my phone hasn't fallen off. Although there is a plate on the bottom that holds the phone, I can still insert my charger. I just put the charger on and place my phone back on the car mount. There is an opening on the said plate so I can charger or play music.

Reusable Soft Silicone Bib by Baby Go-Green

When my daughter was less than a year old, she used the cloth bibs. Overtime, she outgrew them. Some of them were too tight on the neck... others were too soiled that I don't even want to see them anymore! Sometimes, she would yank them off and refuses to use bibs at all. We always end up with dirty clothes after meal time. Some food leave a permanent stain on her shirt which makes me think of buying new bibs again.

We also used the laminated bibs with food catcher. That kind of bib is also a thumbs up for me. And a double thumbs up for the Soft Silicone Bib by Baby Go-Green! These soft reusable silicone bibs are very convenient to use. My daughter likes it too and she doesn't even take it off like what she does with her regular cloth bibs. The snap closures are adjustable and they are super soft! They are also easy to clean. I just use wipes to wipe them down then store them back into the diaper bag. It comes in a pack of 2 so I leave the other one at home. The food catcher feature is very efficient as was made in such a way that it's ready to catch crumbs. I give this bib a 5-star rating!

Baby Carrier by OZN Commerce

My little one is turning 2 this month and we've been through 2 baby carriers. Both of them are the SSC (soft structured carrier) kind. I like those kind because you just buckle them up, adjust and you're good to go!

I have seen the Mei Tai kind of baby carriers before but only in Pinterest and DIY blogs. So this is actually my first time to get my hands on a Mei Tai baby carrier and I just love it! Here are some of the features that I love about the OZN Commerce Baby Carrier.

First, I fell in love right away with its delicate embroidery feature. It sort of reminds me of Anna's dress (from the movie "Frozen"). Don't you think so too?

The straps that rest on my shoulder area are padded for comfort. Same with the top area where the baby's head is. That way it can wrap around your little one without being too snug.

I can sew and I am very keen when it comes to sewing and sewn products. I must say, this baby carrier is very well made and I just love the details!
It has a pictured instruction manual for easy use.

It does take some practice to use this baby carrier. Just keep practicing and there are also YouTube video tutorials that will show you how to use this kind of carrier. Baby can be worn on the front or back like our photos.  My little one and I love our new baby carrier! She thinks we are just playing around doing some "horsie, horsie" ride. After I took it off, she cried! She said, "More, more!" Hahaha. She loves horseback rides that's why.

Microcareful Premium Wash Mitt

Who likes to wash their cars? Not me. I leave the car washing activities to my husband (yes, he is so sweet)! But it rained last week and I didn't like the raindrops to dry on my truck and leave marks. At least not on the windshield. That's all I cared about. So I use my purple wash mitt and wiped down those water droplets on my windshield.

The Microcareful Premium Wash Mitt has 3 components (1) the purple wash mitt, (2) a small gray mitt, and (3) the yellow car dry towel.

I also use the yellow towel around the house, most specifically, in cleaning our windows. Check out the product on Amazon:

Vita Sciences Joint Right Natural Muscle & Joint Pain Relief

I had to carry my little baby bear on my back while hiking last week. She is a 25-pound weight on my back! Last time we went hiking, I wore her on my front but she was just way too heavy for me now! My husband was carrying our stuff on his backpack. We would have switched but I prefer to carry my baby. Besides, she loved it too! Wearing her on my back did help distribute her weight.

After the hike, I felt so tired and my shoulders hurt from all that weight lifting! My left should had some tolerable pain but my right shoulder was sore! Not to mention my painful back as well.

Our little fambam of three!

It's a good thing I keep my pain relieving cream in my backpack! I used the Vita Sciences Joint Right Natural Muscle & Joint Pain Relief on my shoulders and back. Although I wasn't relieved right away (this is a cream not magic!) I had to use it again that night before going to sleep to maximize its effect and help me feel rested (by easing the pain away).

It is natural so no irritation occurred on my skin. I also tried this on my husband for his bad ankle. It helped a little as it is only for minor aches. I just need to remind myself to use it on him more often.

With my newly opened pain relieving cream from weeks ago.
Very handy and easy to use.

It comes in a 1.7 fluid ounce pump bottle which may last me a month's supply. I love the cream dispenser portion. It helps me get the right amount I need and nothing is spilled or wasted! Check out the product on Amazon. It is currently $19.95. This is the link to the product:

Hydration Running Belt by Grav-Gear

My previous post talks about our shenanigans last Veteran's Day 2015. I was able to test the Bag Nation Diaper Bag Backpack while my husband got to use the Hydration Running Belt by Grav-Gear. He was actually more than willing to try it.

So happy with his hydration belt.
The center pocket fits his cellphone. There are two 9 ounce water bottles on each side which is good to keep him hydrated when running, hiking or biking (his favorite hobby). The water bottles are easy to take out and put back. The water bottles and the belt itself are not that heavy so it doesn't weigh him down. The belt is adjustable so I can always borrow it from him. It's water resistant, therefore, I don't have to worry about the sweat getting in there and making it smelly afterwards.

It's on sale right now for $19.95. Check out the product on Amazon here:

Travel Diaper Changing Kit by Beabies

For a newbie mom like me, it is always important to keep my baby safe and healthy. Some restaurants don't have a diaper changing area so sometimes, I change my little one in the car and I just use a changing pad. There is nothing worse than traveling and having to deal with dirty diapers! I won't even go into the gore details.

Most diaper bags come with a free diaper changing pad but you can never really have enough of these! I have one in both our cars and I keep the Travel Diaper Changing Kit by Beabies in our diaper bag to school! It has a regular changing pad section and netted pouches to fit 3-4 diapers and a space for the free wipes dispenser clutch that comes with it.

It has a removable zipper for the netted pouch part so it can be taken out when necessary. I like this changing pad because it's easy to use and clean. It also has a strap so I can just fold it and put it back in my diaper bag.

I can also take out the diaper wipes clutch and just hang it on the stroller so I can easily get some wipes for those little messes.

Bag Nation Diaper Bag Backpack

My family and I celebrated Veteran's Day by spending the whole day together and going on a hike. I had to carry my 25-pound baby on my back and it was a success! It is our second time going to Crystal Cove. This time we took a different route.

After our hiking adventure and photo ops on top of the hill, we went down to the beach. I brought along my baby's stuff and had a chance to take photos of my new Bag Nation Diaper Bag Backpack. Actually, this is going to be my husband's new diaper bag. He thought it was a "normal" bag. He was surprised to learn that it's actually a diaper bag. He's probably tired of carrying around our girly diaper bag. He said he didn't mind but this diaper bag is perfect for him!

Bag Nation Diaper Bag Backpack
It has an insulated pocket for a baby bottle.
The other side pocket is for the wipes for easy access.
It has a lot of pockets for everything!
This top pocket is perfect for my sunnies.
I also keep my little ones little toys in here.
The middle pocket is where I store our flashcards and pocket wifi.
Inside our diaper bag is the free diaper changing pad, some extra clothes and other baby stuff.
